About me

Hira Saqib is a mother of three aspiring self-learners, and is passionate about both the education as well as the tarbiyah of her children. By profession, she was a Cost and Management Accountant through which she gained extensive experience in the corporate world before giving up her career and devoting herself to the upbringing of her children. Later on, her consciousness ventured into the world of homeschooling/ unschooling, as she always had the desire and passion for teaching as she herself used to tutor/ coach several university students.

After having her children, Hira’s desire for the tarbiyah of her children and to understand them properly brought her into the new world of psychology. Her evolution as a mother and a person continued to flourish as she started unschooling her children. Meanwhile, to further develop her knowledge, she also partook in some training such as PTCC from ERDC, Pakistan as well as Life Coaching from the UK. Since then she has continuously been coaching mothers as well as teens, both formally and informally.

Hira also has a very big love and interest in Islamic History and believes history has a lot to offer to us, if we wish to progress as a nation and solve our problems collectively, whilst standing together strongly as a united Ummah. Hira runs a variety of different clubs for mothers and children alongside conducting long and short term courses on the Seerah of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Hira specializes in homeschooling, relationship counselling, stress management. She truly believes that her experience and knowledge can help many muslim women cope and tackle the challenges of day-to-day life and homeschooling.
